Ineos has delayed the restart of an ethylene unit at its Alvin, Texas, complex, Platts reports. A local power outage last month led to an outage at the facility’s Olefins No. 1 plant and propylene plant. Sources told Platts the Olefins No. 2 plant was still down, but Ineos did not confirm that. Ineos planned to restart the ethylene unit this past weekend.
