BP on Friday prepared to restart a 90,000-barrel-per-day crude distillation unit at its Whiting, Ind., that was shut down amid extremely cold weather last week. Via Reuters, wind chills were between 20 and 30 degrees below zero Fahrenheit along Lake Michigan on Friday morning. Sources said the refinery’s other two crude distillation units continued to operate.
