One worker was killed and another was injured Thursday at a Midstates Petroleum Co. oilfield site in Woods County, Okla. Via The Oklahoman, OSHA officials in Oklahoma City said the accident is under investigation but provided no additional details, nor did Midstates Petroleum.
The incident comes less than two weeks after two contractors were injured at a different Midstates Petroleum site in Woods County after being struck by a pipe that fell from a forklift. One of the men remains in critical condition at a local hospital, while the other has been discharged.
