A fire broke out at Mexico’s biggest oil refinery on Tuesday, injuring eight people, Reuters reports. Pemex said the fire at its Salina Cruz, Oaxaca, refinery had been contained and that the refinery was operating normally, save for an alkylation unit. It is the latest in a string of safety incidents at Pemex’s refineries — earlier this month a contractor fell to his death while working at the company’s refinery in Guanajuato.
