A fire broke out early this morning at ExxonMobil’s Baton Rouge, Louisiana, refinery. Via the Baton Rouge Advocate, the fire has been fully extinguished and no injuries were reported. Local residents reported hearing a loud boom before the fire — a noise ExxonMobil later attributed to de-pressurization of a unit.
