PBF Energy idled a coker at its Delaware City, Del., refinery today after a coke release that sent plumes of steam and smoke into the air. Via the News Journal, state officials said there was no fire and it was not determined how much coke was released. Workers were attempting to clear clumped-up coke from the system when the release occurred. PBF Energy said all refinery personnel were safe and accounted for. The company is working to restore operations.
