Axiall on Thursday announced it had reached agreements to sell some of its non-core assets as part of an ongoing divestiture program. Axiall will sell its compound additives unit Solucar, along with a manufacturing facility in Bradford, Ontario, to Galata Chemicals. OpenGate Capital will buy Axiall’s window and door profiles business, which is a part of Royal Building Products. That transaction includes Axiall’s compounding facility in Concord, Ontario. The deals will mark the third and fourth sales of non-core assets by Axiall since last April.
