In two weeks’ time, over 700 project leads from the petrochemical and refining industries will descend on New Orleans to attend the most high-profile and biggest petrochemical construction event in North America — Petrochemical Engineering & Construction 2016 (#PEC2016).
On June 7-8 at the Marriott Convention Center, project leads at petrochemical companies such as BASF, Sasol, NOVA Chemicals, INEOS, Sasol, Total, Shintech, LyondellBasell, ExxonMobil, Valero, HollyFrontier, Yuhuang Chemical and many more will gather to discuss how projects can reduce costs and improve productivity, despite recent market price uncertainty.
Over 65 industry experts from North America’s leading contracting and owner companies will join a number of high-level panels to offer tangible solutions to some of the industry’s most pressing project challenges. These include effective front end planning, workforce shortages, project team integration, defining scope and effective project execution strategies.
Emily McMahon, conference director of #PEC2016 at Petrochemical Update, offers a glimpse into what delegates can expect from a networking standpoint.
“Beyond a highly researched agenda, packed full of interactive panel sessions with the industry’s most respected owner and contracting companies, expect a copious amount of networking time,” McMahon said. “We’re excited to be hosting the Downtown House of Blues Networking Party on the evening of June 7 — a perfect opportunity for you to establish partnerships with key industry players that will secure your business from 2016 and beyond.”
Petrochemical Update has released a sample attendee list on it website to demonstrate the high caliber of attendees confirmed to attend. It is clear that the entire industry will be there. Recent sign ups include Braskem, WorleyParsons, Williams Energy, Valero and Jacobs. See the sample here.
