BASF has closed on the sale of its polyolefins catalyst business to W.R. Grace & Co., the company announced today. The sale includes BASF’s catalysts plant in Pasadena, Texas. BASF said in April the divestiture was part its plans to focus more on its chemical and refinery catalyst business. Approximately 170 BASF employees have been transferred to W.R. Grace.
