SAN RAMON, Calif. — Chevron Corp. named Mark A. Nelson corporate vice president (vp) of strategic planning, responsible for setting the strategic direction for the company, allocating capital and other resources, and determining operating unit performance measures and targets.
Nelson, who most recently served as president of international products, replaces Joseph M. Naylor, who was recently appointed vice president of policy, government and public affairs.
Nelson joined Chevron in 1985 and has served in management positions in retail, marketing, operations and business planning.
