In an effort to continue offering exceptional training and assessments, NCCER recently launched a new, enhanced pipeline program designed to train and prepare individuals for careers in the pipeline industry. NCCER’s new program provides a comprehensive training solution along with individual covered task-training modules with knowledge and performance exams designed to meet Operator Qualifications (OQ). With a new streamlined qualification process and both digital and print options, this program was developed to meet the diverse needs of the industry and ensure the future workforce receives access to well-rounded, quality training.
The innovative pipeline program was created by subject matter experts and incorporates a fully supported system of standardized training. The training modules and integrated performance exams are aligned in accordance with API RP 1161, 3rd edition. These same modules can be combined into custom books that can be printed or viewed online. Further ordering information is available on the NCCER Bookstore and can be viewed at www.nccer.org/catalog.
The full training program consists of multiple modules compiled together to provide focused, comprehensive training for pipeline professionals. This program correlates directly with the newly established pipeline career pathway available for viewing at www.nccer.org/pipeline. The pathway allows for trainees to progress through the standardized program and earn industry-recognized, portable credentials.
