An overflowing tank spilled more than 120,000 gallons of oil and produced water into a pasture in North Dakota on Wednesday, the Associated Press reports. Tank owner Denbury Resources said the spill occurred when a power outage cause a shut-off sensor to fail. The company said the spill might be cleaned up by the end of today.
North Dakota health officials said no waterways or drinking water sources are at risk.
