Enterprise Products Partners could restart its Pascagoula, Mississippi, natural gas processing plant — which was damaged in a July 27 explosion and fire — by the end of the year, the company said last week. CEO Jim Teague said during a quarterly earnings call almost all of the gas that had been processed at the plant was being rerouted to other plants in the area. He said his company was cooperating with an ongoing investigation into the incident by the U.S. Chemical Safety Board.
Teague said he expects the Pascagoula plant to restart in the fourth quarter.
