Phillips 66 will delay plans to build a new condensate splitter at its Sweeny, Texas, refinery for at least a year, company officials said Thursday. Via FuelFix, analysts said the decision reflects uncertainty around U.S. regulations for exporting condensate.
Phillips 66 will also postpone plans for a second fractionator at the Sweeny refinery. The first fractionator is under construction and is set to begin operations later this year.
