Dow Chemical suffered a process upset at one of its ethylene plants in Freeport, Texas, Thursday that led to flaring, Platts reports. A company source said the upset occurred at Dow’s light hydrocarbons unit No. 8. Dow last restarted the plant last month after a month-long turnaround.
